NL East Division rivals will tangle on Tuesday night, when the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets continue their series from Citi Field. During Monday’s home loss, OF Juan Soto’s two-run blast in the sixth inning was all the offense New York could generate. SP Paul Blackburn (0-2) gave up three runs in four plus innings and took the loss for the Mets (46-33), who fell to 27-11 at home. 

Thirty-two year old righty Frankie Montas will make his first start of the year for the Mets. Montas, who has been sidelined since spring training with a right lat strain, went 7-11 with a 4,84 ERA for Milwaukee last season. 

New York SP Tylor Megill has been placed on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow strain. Through 77 games, Atlanta ranks 17th in OPS and 22nd in runs scored.
