Wildcats at Roughnecks 2/8/20 - XFL Picks & Predictions

The Wildcats are heading into the game here against Houston. The Wildcats have Winston Moss as the head coach to start the season off. Moss was able to build up the roster as he wanted from his GM position as well and that could definitely help the Los Angeles team out in this game.

The downside for the Wildcats is the team has 3 quarterbacks on the roster. While that may not sound bad, the Wildcats do not have any real star that could guide the team. Just like the quarterback position the running back position does not have any type of good players on the roster that could control the game.

The Roughnecks are playing at home in their opener here. The Houston team is led at the coaching position by June Jones. Jones did surround himself with quite a bit of talent on the coaching staff and that would definitely help the Houston team out.

Leading the Houston team at the quarterback position will be Connor Cook. Cook had a good college career at Michigan State and if Cook can replicate the same level of production it could really help the Roughnecks. The Houston squad will be running back by committee in the first couple of games as the Roughnecks have 4 running backs on the roster.

The Roughnecks have the better quarterbacks in this game. The Wildcat did not really seem to get much in the way of offensive talent that has the experience and that could hurt the chances for the Wildcats winning the game here. Final Score Prediction, Houston Roughnecks win 22-17.
