The Seattle Dragos are going to face the DC Defenders in the first game of the new XFL league. Now, what is interesting is Seattle is headed up by Jim Zorn at the coaching position. Zorn is also the general manager so he did have the chance to build the team to match the coaching style he is bringing to the table.

The Dragons do have Brandon Silvers and B.J. Daniels guiding the team at quarterback. The running back for the Dragons could be one of 3 players from Kenneth Farrow, Trey Williams or even Ja’Quan Gardner. Those three definitely give the Dragons some options.

The Defenders get to play at home in this game here and that could really help out DC. The Defenders have gathered a good group of talent on their roster  well. The  head man for the Defender is Pep Hamilton and like Zorn is the GM as well which allowed for the shaping of the roster.

With the Defenders the team has picked up a couple of great quarterbacks to lead the team with Tyree Jackson and Cardale Jones leading the team. Now, the running back position may be questionable for the Defenders with 4 different running backs on the roster with none of them being  a big time standout.

Free XFL Pick:

DC Defenders -6.5

The Defenders are playing at home and that will definitely help the Defenders out however, what else does help the Defenders is the quarterbacks had a lot of experience in college and for Jackson led a Buffalo team that was far from the best. Look for the quarterback position to be the turning point for the Defenders. Final Score Prediction, DC Defenders win and cover ATS 25-16.
