DC Defenders at St. Louis Battlehawks 3/18/23 - XFL Picks & Predictions

This Saturday, the D.C. Defenders will head to The Dome at America’s Center to take in the St Louis Battlehawks. The D.C. Defenders will enter this game against the St Louis Battlehawks following a massive win this past Sunday against the Vegas Vipers which resulted in a final score of 32-18. The Defenders have now won four games in a row.

The Defenders are arguably the best team in the XFL this season as only them and the Houston Roughnecks are the only two that are undefeated in the league. In the game against the Vipers, wide receiver D’eriq King managed to get two touchdowns in the game as he only had eight total yards in the match but that’s clearly all he needed to get the job done. Defenders QB Jordan Ta’amu went 14/19 in the completions category while throwing a total of 177 yards.

The St Louis Battlehawks will enter this game at home against the D.C. Defenders following a massive win against the Arlington Renegades this past Sunday which resulted in a final score of 24-11. The Battlehawks only loss this season came against the Defenders back in week 3 in a crazy 4th quarter finish.

The Battlehawks currently sit 2nd in the North Division with an overall record of 3-1. In the game against the Renegades, Battlehawks QB AJ McCarron threw for 214 yards and went 20/27 in completions and managed to throw in two touchdowns that were caught by running back Darius Shepherd and wide receiver Brian Hill.
