DC Defenders at San Antonio Brahmas 4/22/23 - XFL Picks & Predictions

This Saturday, Jordan Ta’amu and the DC Defenders will head to the Alamodome to take on Jack Coan and the San Antonio Brahmas. The DC Defender will enter this game against the San Antonio Brahmas following a massive win last weekend against the Arlington Renegades which came down to the wire, but the Defenders added another win to the column as the beat the Renegades by a score of 28-26.

The DC Defenders have been easily the best team in the XFL all season long and it really is no surprise. The Defenders have now won eight of their last nine games which earns them not only the top spot in the North Division, but the number one spot in the entire XFL. As good as the Defenders are on paper, a lot of their games this year came down to the final minute, but those games could have gone either way. Expect the Defenders to keep their foot on the gas for the entire game this Saturday.

The San Antonio Brahmas will enter this game against the DC Defenders following a massive win against the Orlando Guardians this past Saturday which also came down to the wire as they only managed to best the Guardians by two points in a 25-23 final. Despite the huge win against the Guardians, the Brahmas have still lost two of their last three games.

The Brahmas were a part of the majority as the rest of the league had horrendously slow starts to the season which is now costing them as the playoffs start next week. The Brahmas won’t be making a postseason season appearance this year which isn’t surprising at all. The Brahmas also had a very hectic year when it comes to who their quarterback is as they have went through five different players at that position.
