Dallas Renegades at Seattle Dragons 2/22/20 - XFL Picks & Predictions

The Dallas Renegades travel to Seattle, WA on Saturday for a game against the Seattle Dragons for a week 3 matchup in the XFL.  In their last game, Dallas defeated the Los Angeles Wildcats by the score of 25-18.  Renegades quarterback Landry Jones was solid in his XFL debut, completing 28 of 40 passes for 305 yards and 1 touchdown, while also throwing 2 interceptions.  Dallas running back Cameron Artis-Payne led the way on the ground, carrying the ball 14 times for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The leading receiver for the Renegades was Donald Parham who caught 5 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.  The Renegades gained a total of 444 yards on the day while their defense allowed 251 yards.  The win for Dallas was their first of the season and brought their record to 1-1 on the year.

The Seattle Dragons welcome the Dallas Renegades to town on Saturday after winning their last game by the score of 17-9 against the Tampa Bay Vipers.  Dragons quarterback Brandon Silvers completed 7 of 18 passes while throwing for 91 yards with a touchdown and an interception.  The Seattle running game was led by Trey Williams who rushed 11 times for 45 yards and Kenneth Farrow who carried the ball 10 times for 45 yards, but neither back was able to get into the endzone.  Keenan Reynolds was the leading receiver on the day for Seattle as he caught 3 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown.  The Seattle offense gained a total of 199 yards in the game while their defense allowed 289 yards.  The win against Tampa Bay was Seattle’s first win of the year as their record is now 1-1.

The Dallas Renegades have averaged scoring 17 points per game while allowing 16.5 points per game.  The Renegades have averaged gaining 355.5 yards per game this season while allowing 312.5 yards per game.  The Seattle Dragons have scored 18 points per game on the year while allowing 20 points per game.  The Seattle offense has gained 254 yards per game on the season while allowing 292 yards per game.  Dallas clearly has the better offense in this one and they showed just how good they could be with Landry Jones under center while the Seattle offense sputtered their way to a win last week, so it would be hard for me to go against the Renegades.  Final score prediction, the Dallas Renegades win and cover ATS, 25-9.
