The Dallas Renegades are on the road for a clash with the DC Defenders.  The Renegades are (2-3), coming off a 30-12 home loss to the New York Guardians.  The Defenders are (3-2), after shutting down the St. Louis Battlehawks offense, 15-6.

In the Renegades loss to the Guardians, Dallas was out gained in total yards, 373 to 262.  Quarterback Philip Nelson completed 28 passes for 210 yards, while throwing 2 interceptions. Cameron Artis-Payne rushed for 25 yards on 6 carries.  The loan touchdown for the Renegades came on a 97 yard kick return from Austin Walter late in the 3rd quarter.  Greer Martini led Dallas on defense in tackles, recoding 10.

Nelson has passed for 439 yards, while throwing no touchdowns and 3 picks.  Landry Jones has passed for 784 yards.  Artis-Payne has rushed for 241 yards on 47 attempts, while finidng the end zone twice.  Donald Parham has collected 307 yards receiving on 24 receptions, while hauling in 4 touchdowns. Defensively, Asantay Brown has registered 28 tackles for the Renegades.

In the Defenders win over the Battlehawks, DC was out gained 319 to 256 in total yards.  The Defenders lucked out in the 1st half, when the Battlehawks failed to kick the ball best the 20 yard line on a kickoff, therefore the Defenders started the drive on the St. Louis 45 yard line.  Tyree Jackson relieved starting quarterback Cardale Jones on this drive and marched the Defenders down the field and capped off the drive with a 9 yard touchdown pass to Khari Lee.  Jhurell Pressley rushed for 107 yards on 15 carries.  Tyree Kinnel led the Defenders in tackles with 10.

Jones has totaled 674 yards passing, while throwing 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions for the Defenders.  Pressley has recorded 190 yards rushing on 42 carries.  Rashad Ross is leading the way in receiving, having hauled in 12 receptions for 193 yards and a score.  Jonathan Celestin is leading the way on defense, having collected 32 tackles.

The Renegades have been having issues this season with ball security, having thrown 10 interceptions.  However, Dallas has seen their 2 win come on the road.  Dallas is 2-0 on the road, while DC is 3-0 at home.  Both teams have scored 9 touchdowns, while giving up 12 on defense.  With both teams being undefeated in their respected home and away split, I'm going to side with the under.  The under has been profitable for both teams to this point.  Both teams have also had issues at the quarterback position.  This could be a game where there are quite a few turnovers but each team fails to take advantage of them.  Final score prediction, Dallas will win and the total goes under, 18-13.
