Arlington Renegades at St. Louis Battlehawks 3/12/23 - XFL Picks & Predictions

The Arlington Renegades will be on the road this week for a week four matchup with the Saint Louis Battlehawks. Arlington comes into their fourth game of the year 2-1 overall following a 10-9 victory over Orlando a week ago. Offensively Arlington did just enough compiling 178 yards of offense including 114 through the air to score 10 points resulting in the victory. Defensively Arlington had some issues giving up 271 total yards of offense but allowed no touchdowns and recorded four sacks leading to the victory.

Quarterback Kyle Sloter led the way for the Arlington offense completing 18 of 23 passes for 124 yards and one score in the game. De’Veon Smith Led the way on the ground with 49 yards on 18 carries and added six yards on one grab as well. Tyler Vaughns let all receivers for Arlington with 39 yards on five receptions to go along with the only touchdown scored in the game. Sal Canella Chipped in 33 yards receiving and Caleb Vander Esch added 22 yards on two grabs as well.

The Saint Louis Battlehawks return home this week following a 34-28 lost to DC a week ago. Offensively St. Louis did play well compiling 295 yards and scored 28 points in the game but committed 4 turnovers resulting in the loss. Defensively St. Louis had their worst game of the season giving up 34 points including twenty in the second half as DC compiled 342 total yards of offense.

AJ McCarron led the Saint Louis offense completing 26 passes for 262 yards and four touchdowns but threw 2 picks and was sacked four times as well. Brian Hill was the top ball carrier in the game for Saint Louis with 32 yards on 12 carries and added 49 yards and one score on four receptions as well. Hakeem Butler led all Saint Louis receivers with 105 yards and one score on 9 catches and Jake Sutherland added 23 yards and one score on one grab as well.

Both teams come into week four with only one loss in the year, but Saint Louis is the better overall team. The Battle Hawks to use the superior offense that will overwhelm Arlington in week four.
