Arlington Renegades at Houston Roughnecks 2/26/23 - XFL Picks & Predictions

The Arlington Renegades will take their first road trip of the season in week two with a game in Houston against the Houston Roughnecks. Arlington comes into week two undefeated following a narrow 2 point win over Vegas in week 1. The Houston Roughnecks remain at home in week two undefeated following a 19 point blowout victory of Orlando in week one. Offensively Houston was the better team compiling 337 total yards of offense including 5.2 yards per play to score 33 total points after a 21 point first half. Defensively Houston dominated the game as well allowing just 12 points on just over 300 total yards of offense.

Brandon Silvers motored the Houston offense completing 26 passes for 272 yards and two scores in the game. Running back Max Borghi added 42 yards and one touchdown on 8 carries and Cole McDonald chipped in 14 yards and one score on four carries as well. Deontay Burnett led all receivers in the game with 90 yards and one score on 8 grabs, while Jontre Kirklin chipped in 71 yards and one score on five catches as well.
