The New York Liberty look for their second consecutive victory on Tuesday when visiting the Los Angeles Sparks. New York improved to 19-6 following its 87-79 victory over Los Angeles on Sunday in the first of two games between the two in three days. Breanna Stewart was the leading scorer for New York with 25 points. The Liberty have won five of the last six and hold a one game lead at the top of the Eastern Conference over the Connecticut Sun.

Breanna Steward is leading New York in scoring and rebounding with averages of 23.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, while Courtney Vandersloot is the leader in assists with an average of 8.1 per game. The Los Angeles Sparks look to bounce back from a loss with a win on Tuesday when hosting New York. The Sparks are 9-16 following their eight-point loss to New York on Sunday. LA is fourth in the Western Conference, 14 games behind first place Las Vegas.

The New York Liberty will pick up a second consecutive victory in the last three days over Los Angeles on Tuesday, but will come up short against the spread. New York has failed to cover the number in eight of its last 10 and when playing head-to-head versus Los Angeles and has failed to cover the number in four of the last five including Sunday’s win straight up but did not cover as 8.5-point road chalk when winning by eight.
