Aces vs Valkyries Picks and Prediction – 6/7/2025

Las Vegas recently secured a 75–70 road victory over Seattle, with Wilson contributing 19 points and 7 rebounds. The Aces' defense has been particularly strong, holding opponents under 80 points in five of their six games. However, they will be without center Megan Gustafson (leg) and forward Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (personal) for this matchup. 

The Valkyries, in their inaugural season, have shown potential despite a 2–5 record. They are averaging 74.4 points per game while allowing 82.9 points, ranking 12th and 9th in the league, respectively. The team is fifth in three-pointers made per game (9.1), with standout performances from players like Kayla Thornton, who is averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds. Kate Martin, a former Aces player, has become a key contributor, known for her versatility and defense. The Valkyries are coming off an 86–77 loss to Phoenix and will look to rebound against a formidable Aces squad.

The Aces' experience and defensive prowess give them a significant advantage over the young Valkyries. While Golden State has shown potential, particularly from beyond the arc, containing A'ja Wilson will be a daunting task. We will be taking the Las Vegas Aces to win this one by a score of 84-69.
