The Aces were able to bounce back nicely in their last game to level the series. However, the Aces did have to survive some scary points in the game to get the win secured. The downside is the Aces did not show up in the game until the end of the game and that is when the Aces finally were able to contain the Sun offense and double in the offensive scoring.
In the game A’ja Wilson ended up stepping up big for the Aces in the game. Wilson managed to put in a total of 29 points in the game. She also led the Aces in the rebounding with a total of 7 boards in the game. The second high scorer in the game was actually split between McCoughtry, Hamby, and McBride who all managed to get a total of 11 points.
The Sun had the game pretty much won heading into the 4th quarter. Then the Sun seemed to have gotten over confident in the game and let up on the way they had been playing in the game. Now, the one thing that the Connecticut team has to do in the game here is figure out how to play all 4 quarters or the Aces could end up running away with a game again.
DeWanna Bonner ended up leading the Sun in the scoring with a total of 23 points in the game. The second high scorer for the Sun ended up being Briann January who ended up getting 20 points in the game. The leading rebounder for the Sun came off the bench with 9 boards coming from Beatrice Mompremier.
Free WNBA Pick:
Look for the Sun to come into the game here playing good in the game here, but will be able to contain the offensive production from Wilson in the game here. Something else that will help the Sun out is they will figure out how to play consistent in all 4 quarters and avoid the overconfidence issues in this game and rely heavily on Bonner to carry the team again. Final Score Prediction, Connecticut Sun win 82-74.
