Connecticut Sun vs Chicago Sky 8/14/20 – WNBA Picks & Predictions

Connecticut is finally looking happy in this game here. The Sun were able to pick up a win in their last game to improve to a 3-6 record. The downside for Connecticut is the fact that their offense did not really show up that well in the game against Dallas as the Sun won the game by a 70-66 score.

DeWanna Bonner ended up leading the Sun in the scoring department with 18 points after going 6/17 from the floor and 5/6 from the line. The second leading scorer for the Sun was Alyssa Thomas who put in 17 points. Thomas also led the Sun in rebounding with a total of 7 boards.

The Sky are coming into the game after picking up another win, but this time over the Mercury. The win seen the Sky put in a total of 89 points in the game. The defense for Chicago, though, played great and only allowed the opponent to put in 71 points which equated out to a 18 point victory for the Sky.

Allie Quigley ended up leading the Sky in the scoring with a total of 20 points off of some impressive shooting that seen her go 8/17 from the floor and 4/4 from the line. The second leading scorer for the Sky was Kahleah Copper who put in 16 points. Rebounding was controlled nicely by Dolson who pulled down a total of 9 boards in the win.

With the game here the Sun will have some major struggles offensively. Yes, the Sky offense did look somewhat impressive in their last game, it was against Dallas who has struggled in their own right. Look for the Sky to take full advantage of the struggling Sun defense and bring home a huge win. Final Score Prediction, Chicago Sky win 92-74.
