Chicago Sky vs Indiana Fever 8/22/20 - WNBA Picks & Predictions

Chicago is heading into the game here after picking up a decent win in their last game over New York. The Sky ended up scoring a total of 101 points and only allowed the Liberty to put in a total of 85 points in the game. The win allowed the Sky to improve to a 9-4 mark on the year so far.

The scoring for Chicago was led by Azura Stevens who went 10/18 from the field and 2/2 from the line for a total of 25 points. Stevens even did nicely on the glass for the Sky as well with 5 defensive and 2 offensive rebounds in the game. The second high scorer for the Sky was Courtney Vandersloot who put in 19 points, but also completed a double-double in the game with 10 assist in the game.

Indiana has managed to get back on the winning path by taking down one of the highest rated teams in the WNBA this year. The Fever ended up beating the Storm by a final score of 90-84. With that win the Fever actually managed to improve to a 5-7 mark on the year.

Leading the scoring in the game for the Fever was Kennedy Burke who went 7/13 from the field and managed to go 6/9 from the line for a total of 23 points. Kelsey Mitchell managed to get a total of 17 points in the game. When it came to the rebounding the Fever ended up getting a double-double from Teaira McCowan who pulled down 10 boards and managed to get 10 points.

The Fever are one team that has really played good in one game and then horrible in the  never game. The Fever are due for one of their horrible games here and that is something that could happen here as the Fever are one team that has struggled quite a bit at bouncing back and scoring nicely in back to back games. Look for the Sky to step up and play good in this game and that allows the Sky to bring home a win in the game. Final Score Prediction, Chicago Sky win 99-88.
