Aces at Mystics 9/19/19 - WNBA Playoffs Picks & Predictions

The Las Vegas Aces look to put their loss in Game 1 of their series against the Washington Mystics behind them when they visit the Mystics in Game 2 of their best of five semifinals series on Thursday. Kelsey Plum appeared to be nudged by Elena Delle Donne when she took a shot in the final seconds that would have tied the game and missed. No foul was called on the play and Washington won 97-95. A’ja Wilson led Las Vegas in the loss with 23 points.

Washington was led by Emma Meesseman with 27 points while Delle Donne scored 24, including a turnaround jumper very late in the game. Meesseman led the Mystics in rebounds as well with 10. Kristi Toliver played for the first time in nearly a month and scored eight points for Washington. Washington committed just two turnovers in the first half.

During the regular season A’ja Wilson was the leading scorer and second leading rebounder for Las Vegas with averages of 16.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Liz Cambage was the second leading scorer and leader in rebounding with averaging of 15.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Jackie Young led the Aces in assists with an average of 4.5 per game.

During the regular season Elena Della Donne was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Mystics with averages of 19.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Kristi Toliver was the leader in assists with an average 6.0 per game and the second leading scorer with an average of 13.0 points per game. In all, five players averaged double-figures in scoring for the Mystics.
