Spanish tennis superstar Rafael Nadal has made it into the final of the 2022 ATP Indian Wells Masters in California. In the final of the tournament, Rafa is set to play against Taylor Fritz from the United States.
Taylor Fritz is hugely reliant on his big serving game and that has been working well for the American at this tournament. Fritz enters this match having defeated Andrey Rublev in straight sets in the previous round. It was a big performance for Fritz as he dominated the match with his serving while also managing to break his opponent’s serve on 3 occasions. It has been a solid tournament for Taylor Fritz but the draw has been kind to the American as he has been able to avoid many tough opponents with Rublev being his highest seeded opponent. This is expected to be a massive challenge for Taylor Fritz as he faces one of the greatest players.
On the other side of the coin, Rafael Nadal has been in supreme form this season and is heading into this event following his record-breaking win at the Australian Open. Rafael Nadal has been hugely dominant at this tournament and he enters this match following a win against the number 19 seed in 3 sets in the previous round. It was not the best performance by Rafa but the Spaniard did enough to win. Rafa looks in outstanding form and he is going to be tough to stop at this tournament.
