The New York Yankees (49-42) kick off the second half with a three-game set against the Colorado Rockies (34-57) at Coors Field.

New York will hand the ball to their prized offseason acquisition Carlos Rodon (0-1), who will make just his second start of the season after missing most of the first half with a forearm injury. The Rockies counter with Austin Gomber (7-7), who has struggled for much of the season, entering play with a bloated 6.40 ERA.

Here’s a look at an enticing same-game parlay for tonight’s contest with boosted odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook.

3-Leg Same Game Parlay:

  • Yankees -1.5
  • Giancarlo Stanton (NYY) over 1.5 total bases
  • CJ Cron (COL) over 1.5 total bases

Yankees (-1.5) to Cover the Run Line

The Yankees struggled to close out the first half dropping four of their last five games heading into the break. Their offensive struggles without Aaron Judge have been well-documented.

With that said, a trip to Coors Field may be just what the doctor ordered. Look for New York’s struggling bats to come to life in the thin Rocky Mountain air, against one of the more suspect pitching staffs in baseball.

Even without Judge, The Yankees are the vastly superior team with a clear edge on the hill in this contest. The Yankees have been solid on the road this season with a 24-16 record against the run line, good for 6th best in the MLB. Expect another cover here.

Giancarlo Stanton Over 1.5 Total Bases

It was a brutal first half for Giancarlo Stanton. However, he did show signs of life with a two-homer game last weekend against the Chicago Cubs.

With his colossal power, Stanton is a hitter that is poised to thrive at Coors Field, especially against a struggling lefty like Gomber. He has 3 home runs in just 25 ABs against lefties this season and a daunting .979 OPS vs all southpaws over the course of his career.

A Stanton home run prop is well worth considering tonight as well, but all he has to do to clear this number is find a gap.

CJ Cron Over 1.5 Total Bases

It’s difficult to find a hitter with more stark home/away splits than CJ Cron. When he plays at Coors, he tends to rake. He owns a career .601 slugging percentage in Colorado with 43 home runs and 154 RBIs in just 164 games.

Cron has also fared well historically against Rodon, going 5/15 (.333) with a home run.

Look for the righty slugger to continue past trends and deliver at least one extra base hit tonight.
