Battlehawks vs Renegades Picks and Prediction – 5/25/2024

The Saint Louis Battlehawks will again be on the road for a week 9 matchup in Arlington against the Arlington Renegades. Saint Louis is one of the best teams in the league with six wins overall following a 5 point victory against the DC Defenders in week eight. The Saint Louis offense came up big however a week ago compiling 235 yards including 141 on the ground to score 26 total points after a 17 point second half. Manny Wilkins led the way for the Saint Louis offense completing 9 passes for 126 yards and ran the ball 12 times for 79 yards in the game. Wayne Gallman II chipped in 35 yards and two scores on 9 carries, while Jacob Saylors at 27 yards and one score on 10 carries.

The Arlington Renegades will be back home this week as one of the worst teams in the league with just one win overall following a 5 point loss against San Antonio a week ago. Despite the team struggles quarterback Luis Perez leads the entire league with 1835 yards and 12 scores on 178 completions this season.

De’Veon Smith has also been a big piece for Arlington this season as the 4th best running back in the league with 317 yards and three scores on 80 carries through eight games played. Arlington has three receivers ranked in the top ten in the league led by Tyler Vaughns 37 catches for 383 yards and one score. JP Payton and Sal Canella have combined for 700 and 54 yards on 64 total catches to go along with five scores each.
