Showboats vs Stallions Picks and Prediction – 4/26/2025

The week five UFL schedule will kick off on Friday night, when the Memphis Showboats travel to Protective Stadium to face the Birmingham Stallions. Check out all of our free UFL picks. The Showboats (0-4) are the lone winless team in the UFL and are surrendering 22 points per game. On Friday, Memphis was limited to 150 total yards and failed to score during the second half of a 27-9 road loss against Michigan.

Memphis opened the scoring midway through the first quarter on a Deneric Prince three-yard plunge. Matt Coghlin nailed a 52-yard field goal with six seconds remaining before halftime. QB EJ Perry led the Showboats with 30 rushing yards and was picked off once. 

After a season opening loss at DC, The Birmingham Stallions have reeled off three straight victories and are tied with Michigan atop the USFL Conference standings. The Stallions (3-1) rank fifth in the league in total defense and are allowing a shade below 16 points per contest. On Saturday, Birmingham gained 357 yards of total offense during a 23-16 road victory against Houston. 

Birmingham took a 9-0 lead to start the second quarter on a 26-yard touchdown pass from Matt Corral to Davion Davis. Corral added a 50-yard touchdown strike to Deon Cain and finished with a team-high 52 rushing yards. Harrison Melvis connected on field goals of 48, 35, and 50 yards for the Stallions.

Memphis head coach Ken Whisenhunt resigned prior to last week’s loss and has been replaced for the rest of the season by offensive line coach Jim Turner. The Showboats are extremely limited on offense with Perry under center and will have a hard time moving the ball against the Stallions. Take Birmingham to win and cover at home.
