Stallions vs Panthers Picks and Prediction – 4/5/2025

The week two UFL schedule will kick off on Friday night, when the Birmingham Stallions invade Ford Field to take on the Michigan Panthers. Check out all of our free UFL picks.The Stallions (0-1) have won three consecutive spring football championships and are the favorites to do it again. On Sunday, Birmingham was limited to 138 total yards and failed to score during the second half of an 18-11 road loss against DC. 

Birmingham took a 9-6 lead early in the second quarter on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Alex McGough to C.J. Marable. McGough was the leading rusher for the Stallions with 84 yards, but managed just 89 yards through the air. Birmingham allowed an alarming eight sacks for 73 yards. 

The Michigan Panthers had the second best win total last season, but lost to Birmingham 31-18 in the USFL Conference Championship. The Panthers (1-0) ranked third in the league in scoring defense in 2024 and could be even better on that side of the ball this year. On Sunday, Michigan CB Kai Nacua returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown in the final minute to secure a 26-12 road victory against Memphis. 

Kai’s brother Samson Nacua caught a 25-yard touchdown from Bryce Perkins to give Michigan a 16-6 second quarter advantage. Perkins added a highlight reel two-yard rushing touchdown for the Panthers, who converted 6 of 14 third-down attempts. 

Michigan led last season’s conference championship game 12-0 and will certainly have revenge on their minds. Birmingham’s offensive line issues are a major concern and Michigan will bring plenty of pressure to try to expose that weakness. Take the Panthers to win at home.
