Wolves at Southampton 1/18/20 - Premier League Picks & Predictions

Southampton have been in tremendous form lately and are coming off yet another win, this time a really nice one. They will now return home for their next assignment, where they will play host to Wolves on Saturday. Wolves have been in the exact opposite form and will look to snap out of their win-less streak.

Wolves (7-5-10) are coming off a 1-1 draw at home against Newcastle, in a match where both goals were scored inside the first 15 minutes but nothing happened after that. Wolves have also been eliminated from the FA Cup and are now win-less in their last five matches in all competitions (0-3-2). They are now sitting 7th in the league table with 31 points, one behind Sheffield United and three behind Manchester United. Wolves have been quite solid on the road (3-3-5)but have won just one of the last six in all competitions (1-3-2).

Southampton (8-10-4) were excellent in their away match against Leicester last week, where they came back from one goal behind to eventually win by 2-1 with a very strong performance. That was their third win in a row in all competitions, as they are also undefeated in their last six (5-0-1). Southampton have climbed to the 12th spot of the league table with 28 points, now just three behind Wolves. They have not been very strong at home so far (3-6-2) but have lost just one of their last six there (4-1-1).
