German side Wolfsburg will have a tough task ahead of them when they will travel to Ukraine for the second leg of the round of 16 of the Europa League. The Ukrainians did a great job in the first leg and won by 2-1 on the road, and can now progress even with a slim loss.

Shakhtar Donetsk finished the season on a great note, as they captured yet another domestic title, their fifth in a row and 10th in the last 12 years. In the first leg of their tie against Wolfsburg they were quite lucky, but did miss a penalty kickthat could have given them a two-goal lead. Wolfsburg finished at the 6th spot of the Bundesliga this season and are granted a ticket to the Europa League group stage next season. This season they did great in their group (3-2-1) and after that they overcame Swedish side Malmo to reach the round of 16 for the third time. Wolfsburg have traditionally done pretty good in this competition, reaching the quarter-finals in each of their previous three tries. Moreover, they are undefeated in their last nine away matches for the Europa League (5-0-4).
