Sheffield United is in last place in the English Premier League at 0-1-8 on one point with a goal difference of -11. Sheffield United is four points from safety and at this pace will be one of the clubs teams relegated at the end of the Top Flight English league campaign. Sheffield is the only other club besides West Brom that has yet to win a game through the first nine fixtures of the season.

Sheffield was defeated by West Ham at home 1-0 this past weekend. Last season when Sheffield returned to the English league the club finished ninth in the table but this second campaign has been far from fun. Sheffield had plenty of opportunities to score last week as Oil McBurnie wasted a pair of opportunities while David McGoldrick and George Baldock were denied a goal each on fine saves by West Ham keeper Lukasz Fabianski.
