Freiburg did a pretty good job in their first match after the break, as they held RB Leipzig to a draw on the road. They will now return home for their next task, where they will play host to Werder Bremen. Werder Bremen suffered a tough loss at home and have been struggling mightily for quite a while now.

Freiburg (10-9-7) did not play a very pretty match on the road against RB Leipzig but still managed to hold out for a 1-1 draw on the road. They took the lead and fought hard to keep the draw, and even had a disallowed goal towards the end of the match that would have given them the win. Despite winning just two of their last eight matches (2-4-2), Freiburg are enjoying the best Bundesliga season in a decade, as they are sitting at the 7th spot of the league table. They have a 6-4-2 record at home, where just two of their last seven matches had goals from both sides.

Werder Bremen (4-15-6) only held for the first half hour of their home match against Bayer Leverkusen, but then conceded three more goals to eventually lose by a harsh 4-1. They have now lost six of their last seven Bundesliga matches (0-6-1), scoring just two goals in the process. They are really in danger of relegating this season, as they are siting at the penultimate spot of the league table with 18 points, already nine points below the red line. Oddly enough, they have been better on the road (3-6-4) than they have been at home (1-9-2).
