Watford at Liverpool 12/14/19 - Premier League Picks & Predictions

Liverpool did a solid job in the Champions League and extended their winning streak to four matches. They will now have a seemingly easy task on Saturday when they will host Watford for the 17th round of the Premier League. Watford have been the worst team in the league so far but did hold in their last match.

Watford (1-9-6) finally put an end to their losing streak but did not get what they wanted. They were quite good in their home match against Crystal Palace but the two teams ended up splitting the points in a goal-less draw. That means that Watford are still win-less in their last four (0-3-1). They are stil stuck at the bottom of the league table with 9 points, six below the red line. Oddly enough, five of their nine points have come on the road so far (1-5-2).

Liverpool (15-0-1) are coming off a nice win in the Champions League that saw them top their group. Last week they had an easy job in the 3-0 away win over Bournemouth, and have now won four in a row and eight of their last ten matches in all competitions (8-0-2). They are still leading the Premier League with 46 points, six ahead of Leicester. Liverpool have won all eight matches at home so far but have not kept a single clean sheet in 13 home matches in all competitions.
