They are coming into this match after yet another loss, this time by 0-2 on the road against Sampdoria. That was their sixth loss in their last seven matches, having scored just two goals in that span. Verona are now sitting at the 19th spot of the Serie A with 16 points, five points below the relegation zone. They have been equally weak on the road so far (2-7-3), where they have won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions (1-4-2).
