The only goal scored through two matches for Colorado was by Andre Shinyashiki in the 36th minute of the loss to Austin.

For the third time in the past four seasons, Colorado has taken only one point from its first two matches of the season. Each of the three goals that Colorado conceded to Austin in last weekend's loss came during the second half and last season 79% of the goals allowed by the Rapids, or 22 of 28, were scored after the break which was the highest percentage in all of the MLS.
