Sporting Kansas City started the season in a really positive manner but have severely fallen off in recent weeks. They will try to put an end to their massive win-less streak on Saturday, when they will host Vancouver. The Whitecaps lost in their last match but have been quite promising lately.

Sporting KC (2-4-4) are coming off a really balanced match on the road against DC United, where they conceded a late goal to lose by 0-1. That was their third loss in their last four and they are without a win since a massive 1-7 triumph on the road against Montreal (0-5-3 in all competitions). Sporting KC are still at the penultimate spot of the West with 10 points. However, they have been solid at home (2-1-2). Vancouver (3-6-3) were uninspired in their last match and easily fell at home against Atlanta United by 1-0. That loss put an end to their three-match undefeated streak (2-0-1) but it was just their second in their last seven matches (3-2-2). Vancouver are now sitting at the 8th spot of the Western Conference with 12 points, just one behind the playoff spots. They have not had much luck on the road (1-3-1) but have scored in three.
