Vancouver Whitecaps at LAFC 7/6/19 - MLS Picks & Predictions

LAFC bounced back from a loss to Colorado and destroyed Sporting KC in the process. They will now return home after two away matches, and they will host Vancouver on Saturday. Vancouver saw their undefeated streak come to an end in the Cascadia Derby against Seattle.

LAFC (12-2-4) played a pretty balanced match on the road against Sporting KC, but exploded in the second half to destroy them by 5-1. That win came after a slim 0-1 loss to Colorado, and it was their fifth in their last six matches in all competitions. LAFC are having a tremendous season and are still leading the West with 40 points. They have been equally good at home so far (7-0-1) but have kept just three clean sheets. Vancouver (4-7-8) failed to keep their undefeated streak intact when they visited Seattle, where they conceded a really late goal to eventually lose by 0-1. That loss put an end to their six-match undefeated streak that wasn’t really impressive anyway (1-0-5). Vancouver are now sitting at the 10th spot of the Western Conference with 20 points, six behind the playoff spots. They have struggled to get results on the road (1-4-4) but have scored multiple goals on four occasions already.
