Valencia at Juventus 11/27/18 - Champions League Picks & Predictions

Juventus suffered a tough loss at home against Manchester United last time out and will now look to bounce back to winning ways. They will host Spanish side Valencia on Tuesday, in the penultimate match-day of the Champions League group stage. Valencia are in kind of a tough spot right now as they need to get an equal, or better, result as Manchester United who are playing a much easier match at home against Young Boys.

Juventus (3-1-0) feel like they didn’t deserve to lose by 2-1 at home against Manchester United in their last match. They were pretty solid in the first half and even took the lead at the second. But they were not very careful in the final stages of the match and conceded twice to eventually lose that match. They are still sitting at the top of the group though, and their qualification is almost certain. They just need a single point in their last two matches, and their last match is against Young Boys on the road. Juventus have been great at home in Champions League matches, having lost just twice in their last 37 matches (20-2-15). Valencia (1-1-2) struggled a bit in the first half of their home match against Young Boys, and what a half it was. It had everything, three goals, a ton of cards and a lot of physicality. Valencia took the lead only to be equalized shortly after. But they took the lead again before the half time break and sealed the three points with another goal at the start of the second for the final 1-3. Valencia are now sitting 3rd in the group with 5 points, two behind Manchester United and four behind Juventus. They need at least a draw here and hope that Manchester United will somehow drop points against Young Boys in the other match of the group.
