Granada are now sitting at the 9th spot of the league table with 46 points, four behind the top-seven spots. They have a 9-5-2 record at home, where they have lost just two of their last nine matches in all competitions (6-2-1).

Valencia (12-11-10) are coming off a bad performance at home against Athletic Bilbao, where they conceded a goal in each half and lost by an easy 2-0. They have now lost three in a row and have won just once after the break (1-4-1). Valencia are sitting at the 10th spot of the league table with 46 points, just as many as Granada above them. They have been rather weak on the road so far (3-10-3), scoring just 15 goals and conceding 33 in the process.
