Barcelona destroyed Sevilla in the second leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals and moved on to the semi-finals of the competition. They have been quite strong lately and will look to extend their winning streak on Saturday when they will host Valencia. Valencia have also been in great shape lately and this is going to be an interesting match.

Barcelona (15-2-4) had lost by 0-2 on the road in the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals against Sevilla on the road. But they dominated them in the second leg at home and eventually went through on 3-6 aggregate. Barcelona have now won five of their last six matches in all competitions and each of their last eight matches for the La Liga. They are still sitting at the top of the league table with 49 points, five ahead of Atletico Madrid. Barca have been equally good at home (8-1-2) where they have five consecutive wins. Valencia (6-4-11) also lost in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie against Getafe by 0-1 on the road but did great in the second leg, winning by 1-3 at home. They have now won four of their last five matches in all competitions but have kept just two clean sheets in the last two months. Valencia are sitting at the 7th spot of the league table with 29 points, two behind Getafe and three behind Alaves. They have been mediocre on the road (3-3-4) where they have failed to keep a single clean sheet in their last seven matches in all competitions.
