8/23 - EPL Tottenham at Nottingham Forest 8/28

Tottenham Hotspur (2-1-0) travels to Nottingham Forest (1-1-1) for its Week 4 Premier League fixture. In Week 3, Spurs slipped past Wolverhampton, while Forest played to a 1-1 draw with Everton.

Tottenham needed a record-setting goal from Harry Kane to top Wolverhampton, 1-0. Kane's headed effort came in the 64th minute and set a Premier League record for goals scored for a single club with 185. Kane also saved the day in the previous week's match with a late header into the net for a 2-2 draw against Chelsea. Tottenham opened the season with a 4-1 win over Southampton.

Nottingham Forest and Everton were scoreless until Forest's Brennan Johnson tallied his first Premier League goal in the 81st minute. The celebration for the 21-year-old Welshman was short-lived, however, as just seven minutes later Everton's Demarai Gray took a long pass from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and beat Forest netminder Dean Henderson for the equalizer.

Forest holds a 6-1-3 all-time advantage over Tottenham in Premier League matches, but the last contest was in 1999. The clubs last meeting outside of the Premier League was an English Football League Cup match that Tottenham won 3-1 in 2014.

Tottenham Hotspur is a heavy favorite in this fixture, and rightly so. Spurs finished fourth a year ago — the club's 14th straight season in the upper half of the Premier League table — and appear to be on a similar trajectory this season. Nottingham Forest is back in the Premier League for the first time since 1998-99. Coming off a narrow 1-0 win in Week 3 and a 2-2 nailbiter against Chelsea in Week 2, we expect Tottenham to look to score early against Forest and take a lead into intermission. Final Score Prediction: Tottenham 2-1.
