Tottenham recorded their first draw under coach Mourinho over the weekend and they will now be hosted by another team that played for a draw. Southampton will play host to Tottenham on Wednesday, and will look to keep their undefeated streak going.

Tottenham (8-6-6) fought really hard in their away match against Norwich, pulling even twice in that match to eventually split the points in a 2-2 draw. They have not been very stable lately but have now lost just one of their last five league matches (3-1-1). Tottenham are sitting at the 6th spot of the league table with 30 points, five behind the top-four. They have struggled to record wins on the road (2-4-4) and have yet to keep a single clean sheet.

Southampton (6-10-4) were better than visitors Crystal Palace over the weekend but had to come from one goal behind to secure a 1-1 draw. Even so, Southampton have now grabbed seven points from their last three matches. They have climbed to the 15th spot of the league table with 22 points, now four above the relegation zone. But they have not been anything special at home so far (2-6-2), conceding in all their matches but also scoring in eight of those.
