Toronto FC at New England Revolution 10/7/20 - MLS Picks & Predictions

New England have found some sort of stability in their last four matches but will now face a tough opposition against the visiting Toronto. Toronto have been very good all season and lately they have found some stability that keeps them in the upper levels of the Conference.

New England (5-3-7) tried hard in their home match against Nashville but were eventually stuck at a goal-less draw. Even so, they are now undefeated in their last four matches (2-0-2), keeping three clean sheets in the process. New England are sitting at the 6th spot of the Eastern Conference with 22 points, scoring 15 and conceding just 12 goals so far. They have a very interesting 1-1-5 record at home, with five goals for and five against.

Toronto FC (9-2-4) did a great job in their home match against Philadelphia, coming back from one goal behind to eventually win by 1-2. They have now won three in a row and are undefeated in their last five (4-0-1). However, they have only kept a single clean sheet in their last seven. Toronto are sitting at the 2nd spot of the Eastern Conference with 31 points, as many as Columbus at the top. Toronto have the best away record in the Conference (4-1-2), scoring 14 and conceding 11 goals.

The two teams played for a goal-less draw in the MLS is Back tournament, which was the tenth consecutive match between the two that didn’t see the visitor win. New England have been tremendous as hosts against Toronto (10-2-4), going undefeated in their last eight (5-0-3). Taking the home side to remain undefeated here.
