Two Canadian teams that have not had much luck lately will now clash against one another, when Montreal will host Toronto on Saturday. Montreal Impact are win-less in their last three matches in all competitions, while Toronto have won just once in the past two months.

Montreal Impact (9-9-3) are coming off a 2-2 draw on the road against York 9 for the quarter-finals of the Canadian Championship. Prior to that they had back to back losses against Minnesota (3-2 at home) and Atlanta (1-2 on the road). Montreal are sitting at the 4th spot of the Eastern Conference with 30 points, just as many as Atlanta. They have been solid at home (5-3-1), winning three of their last five. Toronto FC (6-8-5) met a frustrating 0-2 loss on the road against the LA Galaxy, in a balanced match where they conceded both goals at the final 15 minutes. Toronto have been in really bad shape over the past couple of months with just one win in their last 11 matches (1-6-4). They have slid to the 7th spot of the Eastern Conference with 23 points, five behind the Red Bulls. Toronto have not been very strong on the road so far (2-5-2), failing to score in four of their last six (0-4-2).

Montreal won both home matches against Toronto last season, and Toronto also won at home. The hosts have been great when they face Toronto at home (10-4-4) and have lost just one of their last seven such matches (3-1-3). Going with the home team here.
