Toronto FC at FC Cincinnati 9/7/19 - Major League Soccer Picks & Predictions

There is not much to say about Cincinnati in their maiden season in the MLS. It was been really tough so far, mostly due to their defensive weaknesses. They will now return home for their next assignment, where they will play host to Toronto. Toronto have been in the exact opposite form and will come here looking for points.

Toronto FC (10-10-8) were doing a great job in their away match against New England but failed to take the win. They were equalized at the end of the match for the final 1-1, but they remained undefeated for the sixth consecutive match in all competitions (3-3-0). Toronto are sitting 7th in the Eastern Conference with 38 points, one ahead of Montreal and one behind New England. They have not been anything special on the road though (3-6-4).

Cincinnati (5-20-3) are coming off yet another loss, this time by 1-3 on the road against FC Dallas. That was their third consecutive loss and seventh in their last eight (0-7-1). The only positive thing is that they scored in seven of those matches. Cincinnati are stuck at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a mere 18 points, 13 behind Columbus. Home advantage was not so much of an advantage so far (3-9-1).
