Bayer Leverkusen have had quite the hellish week, as after bowing out to Bayern Munich in the German Cup, they also suffered a massive loss against Dortmund. They will now look to wash off that couple of bad losses when they will play host to Stuttgart this coming Saturday. Stuttgart have been excellent in the second half of the season, and will come into this match looking to take advantage of the hosts' struggles.

Bayer Leverkusen (14-8-9) failed to be competitive against Dortmund last week, where they were destroyed by a massive 0-4. They were not at all good in that match, and conceded an early goal that destroyed their psychology. They were not competitive at all, and Dortmund scored three more goals in the second half for the final 0-4. Prior to that, Bayer Leverkusen had also suffered an even bigger loss, as they fell by a whopping 6-2 against Bayern Munich in the German Cup semi-finals. As far as the Bundesliga is concerned, Bayer Leverkusen are now sitting at the 4th spot of the league table with 51 points, two points ahead of Hoffenheim and three points behind Dortmund. On the other hand, Stuttgart (12-13-6) have been stunning in the second half of the season, as they have lost just one of their last 11 matches since early February (6-1-4). Last week they were really good in their home match against Werder Bremen, where they scored a goal in each half, to eventually win by an easy 0-2. Stuttgart went from trying to avoid the red line to actually challenging a top six finish and the European ticket that comes with it. They are now sitting at the 10th spot of the Bundesliga with 42 points, five points behind RB Leipzig at the 6th spot.
