Two teams that have been in really poor form lately will now clash against one another, when West Ham will play host to Stoke City on Monday. West Ham have actually grabbed four points from their last two matches, and they are in a much better spot regarding the relegation. Stoke City are coming off four consecutive losses and are in real danger.
West Ham (8-14-10) were excellent last week in the London Derby against Chelsea, where they managed to escape with a point from their trip. They saw Chelsea take the lead at the 36th minute, but West Ham managed to pull even at the 73rd for the final 1-1. Prior to that they had destroyed Southampton by 0-3 at home, but they had three consecutive losses right before that. They are now sitting at the 15th spot of the Premier League with 34 points, six points ahead of the relegation zone with six more matches to go. However, they will come into this match with a ton of injuries, as there are six players who are unavailable.
Stoke City (6-18-9) fought really hard against the visiting Tottenham last week, but they couldn't avoid the loss. After a goal-less first half, Tottenham took the lead a tthe 52nd minute, but Stoke City pulled even just five minutes later. Their joy didn't last long, as they conceded once again just six minutes later, to eventually lose by 2-1 at home. That was their fourth consecutive loss, with their last win dating back to January 20th (0-5-4 since then). Stoke City are now sitting at the penultimate spot of the Premier League with 27 points, already six points below the relegation zone. They will also have a ton of injury concerns here, as there are six players listed as unavailable.

West Ham destroyed Stoke City by 3-0 on the road earlier in the season, but that was actually their first win since 2013 (1-3-5). However, there has been total balance between the two teams in this venue over the years (3-3-5). Stoke City have an extra motive to win here, but they struggle to keep clean sheets.
