Sporting KC (15-7-6) are coming into this match after a massive 5-1 away win against San Jose. They grabbed their opponents by the throat early in that match and took a three-goal lead before the first half was over. You can imagine the rest. Sporting KC have now won six of their last seven, keeping five clean sheets in that span. They are now leading the Western Conference with 51 points, one ahead of FC Dallas. Sporting Kansas City have the best away record in the Conference (6-5-3) and have won three of their last four. But prior to that they had four consecutive losses.
