Spanish La Liga – Matchday 35 – Best Bets, Odds, Picks & Predictions

There are only four full rounds of fixtures remaining in the 2019/20 La Liga season, but there is still plenty of business to sort out. The title and European races are far from over, while the relegation battle continues to drag on. In thing’s for sure, the results of Matchday 35 are going to have a big impact on the outcome of the campaign.

Here are this week’s best La Liga bets.

Eibar vs. Leganes – 07/09/20

Eibar are sitting just outside the drop zone, although the six-point gap between them and third-bottom Mallorca suggest that the Basque outfit should avoid relegation. Meanwhile, Leganes are currently second from bottom and seven points shy of Eibar. Considering that this should be an open game with plenty of goalscoring opportunities, both teams to score at 2.00 seems like a great bet. Both teams have scored in six of Eibar’s previous nine league games, while Leganes have conceded in seven of their last ten. I’ll be very surprised if this fails to produce goals at both ends.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 2.00

Athletic Bilbao vs. Sevilla – 07/09/20

Sevilla have cemented fourth place after racking up an impressive seven-game unbeaten run since the campaign resumed. Three wins and four draws have all but secured Champions League soccer for next season. Athletic Bilbao have also been on a decent run of their own, losing just two of their seven games since the resumption. Given that Sevilla are enjoying a much more successful season than Bilbao, odds of 2.50 for the away win seem very generous here. Sevilla currently lead Bilbao by 12 points, and I can see that gap between extended to 15 points on Thursday.

Pick: Sevilla to Win – 2.50

Real Sociedad vs. Granada – 07/10/20

Real Sociedad have been in dismal form since soccer returned, winning just one of their seven games since the restart. Defeats to Alaves, Real Madrid, Celta Vigo, and Getafe have all but ended Sociedad’s top-four hopes. On the other hand, Granada have only suffered two defeats this side of the lay-off. Having been miles off Sociedad for the entire season, Granada are now just four points behind. I’m not sure why the price for the home win is at 1.67 and the away win is 4.50. Granada are likely to get something from this game, so the double chance market makes sense.

Pick: Double Chance Granada and Draw – 2.00
