Spanish La Liga: Best Bets – Matchday 26 – Odds, Predictions & Picks

Real Madrid and Barcelona face off on Sunday as El Classico is set to dominate La Liga this weekend. However, I believe you can get better value by betting on games elsewhere in the Spanish top flight on Matchday 26. 

Here are my top three La Liga picks this week. 

Granda vs. Celta Vigo – 2/29/20 

Granada and Celta Vigo both head into Matchday 26 in good form. Granada have won three of their last four games and have cemented ninth place in the table, while Celta Vigo have moved out of the relegation zone after claiming two wins in the previous three outings. Granda hammered Osasuna 3-0 last weekend, and three of Granada’s last four league games have produced over 2.5 goals. Two of Celta Vigo’s previous three games have seen two or more goals, so I think this matchup will be a high-scoring encounter. It’s difficult to pick a winner here, but I’m sure we’ll see plenty of goals. 

Pick: Over 2.5 Goals – 2.40 

Sevilla vs. Osasuna – 3/1/20 

Sevilla are fourth – level with third-place Atletico on 43 points and one point ahead of Getafe. On the other hand, Osasuna are twelfth after losing three of their last four games. Sevilla have scored over 1.5 goals in three of their last four league games, while Osasuna have conceded over 1.5 goals in five of their previous seven in all competitions. It’s safe to say that Sevilla is the in-form side heading into this clash. Sevilla are the clear favorites to win this game at 1.40, but I recommend adding the over 1.5 goals market into this mix to boost the odds.  

Pick: Sevilla to Win and Over 1.5 Goals – 1.80 

Espanyol vs. Atletico Madrid – 3/1/20 

Espanyol remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just four wins to their name in 2019/20. The Barcelona outfit have conceded the most goal in La Liga this season, while on Leganes have scored fewer. Atletico are up to third after winning two of their last three games, and a morale-boosting victory over Liverpool in the Champions League recently has clearly lifted the team’s confidence. The gulf in quality between these two teams is vast, but Espanyol’s home advantage in this tie means the odds for the Atletico win are very attritive. This bet seems too good to miss, and it’s a great opportunity to double your money.
