They will now have to get back to winning ways after a bad result, as they will play host to Southampton on Wednesday. But Southampton are coming off a really great match against Manchester United at home.

Tottenham (10-4-0) met a really infuriating loss on the road against Arsenal, where they fell by a harsh 2-4. Their opponents took an early lead when they scored from the penalty spot, but Tottenham showed great resolve to overturn the lead in their favor before the first half was over. However, Tottenham could not hold on to their lead as they conceded a whole three goals till the end of the match to eventually lose by 2-4. They are sitting at the 5th spot of the Premier League with 30 points, one point behind Chelsea and six points behind Liverpool. Tottenham have not been very careful at home so far in the league (3-2-0), where they also have two wins and a loss for the Champions League and a draw in the Carabao Cup against Watford. Southampton (1-7-6) were really close to pulling a massive upset over the weekend, when they took a two-goal lead at home against Manchester United. However, Manchester United reacted perfectly and had already pulled even before the first half was over for the final 2-2. Southampton have been in terrible form this season and have not won any of their last 11 matches in all competitions (0-5-6). Southampton are sitting at the 18th spot of the Premier League with 9 points, just one point behind Huddersfield and the relegation zone. They have the third worst away record in the league (1-5-1), where they have scored just 6 times, while conceding 15 in the process.
