Sporting KC have been struggling mightily this season and are win-less in their last seven (0-3-4). They are now sitting at the 11th spot of the Western Conference with 11 points, just as many as Portland above them. Sporting KC have been hard to beat at home so far with just one loss (2-1-3). Seattle (7-1-5) should be feeling lucky they escaped Philadelphia with a point from that goal-less draw, because they were not very good overall. Even so, they extended their undefeated streak to six matches (2-0-4). The Sounders are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Western Conference with 26 points, eight behind LAFC who have two more matches. Seattle have been mediocre on the road so far (1-1-3), but have kept two clean sheets.
