San Jose are coming off a massive win over the LA Galaxy and will now look to repeat their success on Sunday, when they will host Seattle. Seattle are coming off a bad loss against the other LA franchise and will be missing quite a few players here.

San Jose (6-7-5) were dominant in their away match against the LA Galaxy last week, where they scored three second half goals on their way to a 4-0 win. They have now won four of their last five and look like they are hitting some form. Don’t forget that not too long ago they were conceding goals at an alarming rate. San Jose are now sitting at the 7th spot of the Western Conference with 23 points and a -15 goal differential. They have been mediocre at home so far (2-2-4), with both teams scoring in six of those matches.

Seattle (9-4-3) were not that bad in their away match against LAFC but ended up losing by 1-3. Their opponents were much more effective in the finishing, as Seattle were missing Ruidiaz, Svensson, Arreaga, Jones and Leyva (the same players will be unavailable on Sunday). Seattle have now won three of their last five (3-2-0), scoring multiple goals on all three wins. They are still leading the Western Conference with 30 points and a +18 goal differential. However, they have been mediocre on the road (2-3-1), scoring 10 and conceding 9 goals in the process.
