Los Angeles FC hosts the Seattle Sounders on Saturday in the opening match of the 2024 MLS regular season for both clubs. During the offseason, Seattle lost Heber, who was acquired prior to the start of the 2023 season from New York City FC but just scored twice when playing in 22 matches. Pedro De la Vega, an Argentine youth International at 23 years of age arrives from Lanus as the club's largest ever transfer. Danny Muskovski was also signed during the offseason. Muskovski is a proven striker in the MLS and gives LAFC depth to play with Raul Ruidiaz and Jordan Morris.
