Colorado pulled a nice win on the road in their last match and bounced back to winning ways. They will now return home for their next assignment, where they will play host to Seattle on Saturday. Seattle are coming off a spectacular win over the LA Galaxy and look like they are getting in solid form again.
Seattle (13-8-7) played a really strong match at home against the LA Galaxy, where they had to score four goals in order to win. Their opponents pulled a late equalizer but Roldan scored the winning goal at the 89th minute for the final 3-4. Seattle have now won two in a row after going win-less in four consecutive matches. They are sitting at the 2nd spot of the Western Conference with 46 points, one ahead of Minnesota but also 16 behind LAFC. Seattle have bee feisty on the road (4-6-4), losing just one of their last five (3-1-1).
Colorado (8-14-6) are coming off a really balanced match on the road against the NY Red Bulls, where they actually escaped with a 2-0 win. That win came after a three-match win-less streak and it was their first clean sheet after nine consecutive matches. However, Colorado are still sitting at the penultimate spot of the Western Conference with 30 points, already 12 behind the playoffs. They have been mediocre at home so far in the season (6-6-2), but have won three of their last five there.
Seattle have dominated this match-up in recent years, winning each of the last seven matches against Colorado, regardless of venue. They already beat them by 0-2 at home this season. Seattle have also been great in this venue over the years (8-3-1), also winning five of the last six. Going with Seattle on this one.
