Two teams that have been in pretty bad shape after the break will lock horns on Sunday, when Union Berlin will play host to Schalke. Both teams have been in tragic form lately, and are actually the two worst teams in that department since the restart of the league.

Union Berlin (9-16-4) were not really bad in their away match against Gladbach last week, but they conceded two goals in each half to eventually lose by a harsh 1-4. They have now grabbed just one point from their four matches after the break, and are win-less in their last seven in all competitions (0-5-2). Union Berlin are sitting at the 14th spot of the league table with 31 points, just four ahead of the red line. They have been hit-or-miss at home so far (6-6-2), winning just one of their last five there (1-2-2).

Schalke (9-10-10) met a slim 1-0 home loss against Werder Bremen last week, where neither team was really good. It was their opponents who scored the only goal of the match, forcing Schalke to their fourth win in just as many matches after the break. Schalke are sitting at the 10th spot of the league table with 37 points, now ten above the relegation zone. They have been mediocre on the road so far in the season (4-6-4), but pretty terrible lately, as they are without a win in their last eight away matches (0-5-3). To make matters worse, they have scored just one goal in their last six away matches.
