Inter Milan destroyed their opponents in the Coppa Italia and have been tremendous in the past month or so. They will now face their nemesis on Saturday, as they will play host to Sassuolo. Sassuolo have not been in very good shape lately but have pretty much dominated Inter Milan in recent years.

Prior to that they beat Empoli by 1-0 on the road and have now won three in a row, also remaining undefeated in six consecutive (4-0-2). Inter Milan are still sitting 3rd in the league table with 39 points, seven ahead of Lazio and five behind Napoli. They have also been really strong at home so far (7-1-1), where they have the best defense with just 4 conceded goals. Sassuolo (6-6-7) are coming into this match after a tough elimination in the Coppa Italia, as they fell by 0-2 on the road against Napoli. Prior to that they met a massive 6-2 loss at home against Atalanta and have now lost three in a row. Sassuolo are now sitting at the 11th spot of the league table with 25 points, 12 ahead of the relegation zone. They have been mediocre on the road so far in the season (3-4-2) where they have won two of their last five (2-3-0).
