San Jose (1-4-0) finally found a win, at home against the struggling Portland Timbers by 0-3. The Quakes looked poised to not let this one slip, as they played really good on the offense and scored all three goals by the 34th minute. But that was a bright spot in an otherwise dark campaign so far, as this win came after four consecutive losses. The Quakes are now sitting at the 9th spot of the Western Conference with 3 points, having scored just five goals and having conceded 14 so far.
